It has been a long and eventful journey, one that passed by in the blink of an eye, leaving behind memories and milestones that will stay with us forever.
So, on October 5th, 2025, the Hansem Vietnam team came together to celebrate a milestone that was more than just an anniversary. It was a journey revisited, a bond rekindled, and a heartfelt toast to everything, and everyone, that brought us here.
From our humble beginnings in 2015 with just a handful of members to the strong, passionate, and united team we are today, the journey of Hansem Vietnam has been nothing short of remarkable.
We’ve faced impossible deadlines, learned to navigate the strange world of remote work, celebrated victories, and grown stronger through every challenge. This milestone isn’t just about ten years of existence. It’s about ten years of people, of dedication, creativity, and teamwork that made Hansem Vietnam who we are today.
To celebrate our 10th anniversary, we spent three unforgettable days and two nights together on the beautiful island of Phu Quoc. We visited iconic attractions like VinWonders and Vinpearl Safari, soaked up the sunshine, and enjoyed the gentle ocean breeze – a refreshing change after months (or years!) of sitting in front of computer screens.
But the best part wasn’t the sightseeing – it was the bonding.
Our evenings were filled with laughter (and a few dramatic screams) from the legendary WEREWOLF game, where we all discovered the “real” versions of our colleagues: who’s secretly persuasive, who’s unexpectedly sneaky, and who simply can’t lie to save their life. Those moments reminded us that behind every email, deadline, and translation file, there are people: full of humor, warmth, and stories worth knowing.
The Gala Dinner began with a heartfelt speech from our General Director, Mr. Kim Il-Hong, who shared his gratitude and vision for the years ahead. From that moment, the evening came alive – with games, music, lucky draws, and laughter filling the air.
As the saying goes: “If the first-day you could see you now, they wouldn’t believe it”. That saying couldn’t be truer. We all started out as juniors – shy, nervous, backpacks stuffed with things we thought we needed (but never actually used). Yet our hearts were full of excitement and eagerness to learn. Time flew by, and before we knew it, many of us had become seniors – guiding and mentoring the newcomers who followed. Each journey is different, but every one of them is meaningful. Every single person here has grown into a much more… let’s say, premium version of themselves.
One of the most emotional parts of the evening was the Employee Sharing Session, where each team had a representative take the stage to speak.
The stories came in all tones – some thoughtful, some funny, some deeply touching. Our senior members in Project Management and Resource Management spoke about the early challenges that shaped our foundation. Our internal Quality Assurance juniors brought the room to laughter with their honest, lighthearted reflections. The Admin team reminded us how every small act of support behind the scenes keeps everything running smoothly.
As each person spoke, the room grew warmer. Some people laughed. Some cried. Everyone listened.
For a moment, it felt like time slowed down – as if we were all revisiting the moments that defined us: the deadlines we thought we couldn’t make but did, the clients who trusted us, the friendships that started over coffee and turned into lifelong bonds.
Those stories reminded us that what truly makes Hansem Vietnam special is not the number of projects or clients. It is the people behind them – their resilience, kindness, and willingness to grow together.
And because no celebration is complete without recognition, Hansem Vietnam proudly presented two special awards:
✨ The Contribution Award, honoring three individuals whose dedication and hard work have left a lasting mark.
✨ The Rising Star Award, celebrating two shining talents who represent the future of Hansem Vietnam.
Along with certificates and prizes, Mr. Kim personally shared heartfelt remarks about each awardee, from their first days at the company to who they’ve become today. It was a touching moment, honest, warm, and deeply personal. Some recipients even got teary-eyed hearing their director’s genuine reflections. These awards were more than just recognition, they were a sincere thank-you, and a powerful motivation for all of us to continue walking forward together.
The celebration came to a close with hearty laughter, warm hugs, and the radiant smiles of every team member. In that moment, we saw a glimpse of ourselves from ten years ago – curious, excited, and full of determination. Only now, we’re stronger, more grounded, and more connected than ever before. It wasn’t just an anniversary party – it was a chance to look back on our journey and realize that every small step, every quiet effort, has helped shape Hansem Vietnam into what it is today. More importantly, it was a moment to look ahead – to the new milestones, the laughter, and the memories waiting for us on the road ahead. As Director Kim said in his closing words: “Let’s look forward to the next ten years – stronger, greater, and even more amazing”. Because Hansem Vietnam is more than a company – it’s a family where we grow, learn, and continue writing our beautiful story together.
